Las Vegas, Nevada (April 1, 2014)RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT at the LVH – Las Vegas Hotel & Casino – “Classic Rock By Those Who Rocked It!” – was just voted ‘Best Musical’ in the 2014 Las Vegas Review-Journal Best of Las Vegas Readers’ Poll.  The voting is conducted each year by the city’s largest newspaper to find out who their readers think are the best in local entertainment, dining, shopping and more.

“Winning Best of Las Vegas is an amazing feat,” said Rick White, Vice President of Entertainment at the LVH.  “The fact that this is the first year the show would have been eligible for voting and then actually won the category is phenomenal.  It really speaks to how Las Vegas locals have embraced the show in a short amount of time and recognized that it truly is the #1 show in Vegas!”

RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT brings the history of rock ‘n’ roll to life and pays homage to rock’s greatest hits from the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s.  The music is played by an all-star super group of musicians, the likes of which is not seen anywhere in Las Vegas, and includes Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Howard Leese [Guitar] (Heart), Doug Aldrich [Guitar] (Whitesnake, Dio), Robin McAuley [Lead Vocals] (MSG, Survivor), John Payne [Lead Vocals and Bass] (Asia), Paul Shortino [Lead Vocals] (Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot), Jay Schellen [Drums] (Badfinger, Asia), Andrew Freeman [Lead Vocals and Guitars] (Lynch Mob, The Offspring), and Michael T. Ross [Keyboards] (Lita Ford, Missing Persons).  Two phenomenal female vocalists trade off duties for the show, as well: Carol-Lyn Liddle and Stephanie Calvert (Starship).

RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT performs Friday through Tuesday nights weekly (schedule subject to change) at 8 p.m. in the LVH Theater. Ticket prices range from $49 to $80 plus taxes and fees.
